As a reading tutor, but especially as a homeschool mom, when I see my child pick up a book on her own to read; my heart soars. The joy and pride that emanates from me may seem over the top to some, but learning difficulties take perseverance and tenacity on both the teacher and the student's part.
So when of her own free will and choosing, I found my daughter reading a book; I felt like leaping and dancing all around the house!

ReplyDeleteAmazing to see her reading. I always push for mine to do the same. So far it's working and hopefully it doesn't stop. I love how deep in thought she is.
