March Perspectives

4 PERSPECTIVES. 52 WORDS.

Can I just gush for a moment?

This project is amazing.  It is pushing me to think, to contemplate, to be inspired, and to create.  It is helping me to go beyond my perceived boundaries, to try new things and create art that I might never have created without this extra push. Not only that, but I get to work with some amazing photographer and friends.

Below are all my photos for the month of March.

March 5-on-5 Gardening::: Hillsdale, Michigan Documentary Photographer

I am a big gardener.

More precisely, I have big gardens!

Every year at the beginning of March, Lauren and I start our tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. In a couple of weeks we will start some kale, Swiss chard, and a myriad of flowers and herbs. It's tradition!

We are now trying to wait patiently for the first little hints of green to push up from the soil.  We're rooting for all those little seeds and it won't be long now.

From Below- Hillsdale Michigan Photographer

 Week 9:  From Below

Street Photography has always intrigued me, but drawing attention to myself... Eh, not so much.  This week wasn't a hard prompt, but I wanted to take a photo of something that pushed me out of my comfort zone.  So, while I waited for my daughter to finish up with her dance class I took a picture of the old theater in our wonderful little city.  I'm sure there were people wondering what the crazy lady squatting down on the sidewalk was doing, but thankfully there aren't very often droves of people roaming the sidewalks in our town.

So, I pushed this prompt just a bit.  This isn't shot straight up at something or with the perspective of my subject straight above me.  But I was below the street light and the signs for the theater.... looking up from my location on the sidewalk.
