The field next to our house was laden with scrumptious Black raspberries a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t resist capturing on of my favorite treats!
Nothing is better than capturing a family in the moment. Spontaneity captures who they really and truly are, forced posing and smiles take away from the moment. This family had me movin’, thinkin’ and laughin’! So much fun!
I recently had a chance to combine two of my favorite things…. Lake Michigan and taking photos of my blond haired, blue eyed nephews!
Our plan was to go to Lake Michigan and capture some great family shots. The adults plans were not the boys plans. We hit that sand and the need to get into the water, dig and throw things kicked into overdrive. Instead of creating havoc by trying to get them to sit and smile, we let them play and I captured them as they truly are…. ACTIVE!
After a bit we lured them away from the beach in promise of an adventure. We were hoping to get some family shots taken in a different, less enticing location.
We got this.
And then ended up here! (LOL!)
It ended up being a great learning experience for me on how to just go with the flow and capture the time as it unfolds. Thanks to my beautiful family and gorgeous nephews for letting me take LOTS and LOTS of photos of them!
